May 2025 saw another commission for me. This time it was to photograph a rather nice Honda S2000 for a client. The photos were taken at Denstone in Staffordshire. Here are a couple of the ones I took for the client (he has all the others!)
- In February 2025, I was apporached to ask permission to use a photo I had taken of the Rotunda in the Church at Stoney Middleton. Derbyshire in the forthcoming Heritage Shell Guide for Derbyshire. This permission was granted and the new book will hopefully be published In July 2025.
At the end of March I was asked to take some photos of an awards ceremony at The Venue in Ashbourne for a motorcycle racing team. Here are a couple of pictures taken on the evening.
On 24th September, BBC Radio Derby used one of my photos on their BBC Sounds platform for an interview about a charity scooter ride that I photographed over the weekend for Sam's Superheroes (samssuperheroes.co.uk). On 26th September 2024, the BBC also carried a news article about the scoot that also carried one of my photos. On 12th August 2020, there was an amazing thunderstorm over the house and so, from the conservatory, I set up the camera with a lightning trigger to record the scene. One of the photos was shown on the local weather on BBC East Midlands, that evening! Here it is with another taken that night!
The below image was used to publicise the Rowing Abreast Challenge in 2023 for my friend Ali Adams.The article appeared in the Burton Mail and there was also an article on the BBC Website and also the British Rowing website
